Charlotte McDougall

Charlotte McDougall is a communication and leadership coach.  For the last eighteen years she and her team have been working with top city institutions and private clients.  They advise on all aspects of verbal, physical and written communication.  They work at all levels from one-to-one coaching with board members and senior management, partners, directors and senior associates, preparing teams to pitch for new business, coaching clients for an important meeting, interview or presentation and leading group presentation and personal impact skills training courses. 

 

Charlotte and her team work with their clients to make them conscious and consistent in the way they present themselves in their business lives – in person and online.   Their speciality is building presence and personal impact, developing leadership and interpersonal skills, winning new business and client relationship skills.  In the last twelve months Charlotte and her team have helped prepare eight senior associates and directors for promotion or interview and all eight candidates were successful.   They also work on major investor presentations and company exits.  Charlotte has written a highly-regarded book “How to Speak with Confidence in Public.”

Charlotte’s background is as a professional actor and comedy writer and she has appeared on film, television and stage. She has written and starred in four comedy series of “The Bearded Ladies” for Radio 4 and has performed alongside Cate Blanchett, Miranda Hart, Stephen Fry, Sally Phillips and Ronnie Corbett.

Tim Kane

Tim is a business role-player, communication coach and facilitator. He has worked in this field for over 20 years and across many sectors – professional services, law, banking, pharmaceutical, telecoms, media, charity, and government. He is based in London and has worked throughout Europe as well as in USA, India, Singapore, UAE and Australia.

 

Tim helps people develop their skills in areas including client interactions, performance conversations, stakeholder influencing, and managing difficult conversations. He is also a highly experienced presentation skills trainer and coach. Tim particularly enjoys working one-to-one and with small groups.  He is highly skilled at giving detailed and constructive feedback, building confidence and tailoring the challenge for each person to maximise their learning.

Edie Lush

Edie is a communication and personal development coach. She works at all levels from 1-1 coaching to running group training and communication workshops for international participants. 

Edie is passionate about clear and effective communication - she works with clients to help them draw in listeners even before they open their mouths to speak.  She coaches individuals to successfully pass promotion panels, win new business, develop leadership skills, increase their personal impact and build more significant business relationships.


Recent clients include Deloitte, Diageo, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, Diageo, the British American Project, Arbonne International and The Climate Project.

Edie Lush is professional broadcast and print journalist.  She is Executive Editor for Hub Culture and regularly interviews senior figures from finance and politics. Edie has been Associate Editor for Spectator Business and the economics and political correspondent for Bloomberg Television.  Edie has worked for The Spectator, Prospect, The Week, Investors Chronicle and the BBC.

Alec Nicholl’s

Tim Kane

Over the last 18 years Alec has built a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector.  He works as a facilitator and coach.

 

Alec’s areas of experience include leadership development, assessment centres, development centres, customer service, communication skills, presentation skills, diversity training, personal impact, crucial conversations and negotiation skills.

Caron Anson

Caron has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors.  His personal development work is at all levels from Chief Executives, Partners and Directors to senior managers and sales teams.  Combining his acting skills, personal skills and business experience, he works extensively in forum theatre and role-play.

Caron has worked with Barclays, BBC, Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, KPMG, the NHS, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the UN.  Caron works in many different sectors - banking and financial institutions, law firms and accountancy firms, oil, energy and rail companies and several super-luxury brands. He is most interested in the personal development of his clients and his feedback skills are highly regarded.
